(October 19, 2009 Bartow, FL ) The Urban Form Focus Group will meet Tuesday, October 27th, 2009. The meeting is scheduled from 8:00 am - 10:00 am in the County Commission Board Room in the County Administration Building, 330 W. Church Street in Bartow. The topics of this month's meeting include:
- Housing Opportunities
- Mixed Land Uses
- Civic Centers
The meeting will be available to watch live during a webinar via The Ledger website at www.TheLedger.com/pgtv. Citizens are encouraged to submit questions for the focus group via the webinar.
The Urban Form Focus Group is a forum for citizens to share their ideas and suggestions about proposed changes to the county’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code based on Quality Growth Strategies. The Comprehensive Plan is a blueprint for growth for the county.
