The Office of Business Development assists in the creation of quality jobs by attracting new businesses to the area and by assisting local firms in their expansion efforts, resulting in a more diversified economic base. The mission is accomplished through working in an alliance with the Central Florida Development Council of Polk County. The office also works hand-in-hand with Cities, chambers and community economic development partners, to promote and maintain Polk County as a quality area to conduct business.
