The Infrastructure Management Department is a full service organization with 5 functional divisions:
Parks and Natural Resources
Facilities Management provides facility development, replacement and repair to all BoCC departments and divisions.
The Transportation Engineering Division is responsible for managing all transportation aspects of the Polk County Infrastructure Management Department's "Community Investment Program" (CIP).
This division provides water services which include; drinking water, wastewater management and reclaimed irrigation water. This department is an enterprise fund; therefore, our only source of income is from the customer charges, and our only expenses are those necessary to provide you with the current level of services

- This division operates and manages many types of recycling and disposal services including; supervision of recycling and refuse collection in the unincorporated areas of the County and operation of the North Central Landfill.
