All public records requests must be made by contacting Tommy Gaffney in the Records Management Division. Florida law permits individuals requesting public records to remain anonymous.

The Records Managment Division is only resposible for providing public records for the departments and divisions within the Polk County Board of County Commissioners which are listed on the 
Organization Chart. Polk County's five constitutional officers, the Clerk of Court, Property Appraiser, Sheriff, Supervisor of Elections, and Tax Collector, are responsbile for providing their organizations' public records.
