North Galloway Road and Swindell Road Public Meeting Postponed Due to Weather

Polk County (Jan. 9, 2024) – A Polk County public meeting to be held tonight, Jan. 9, at the Winston Academy of Engineering in Lakeland has been postponed due to severe weather expected across the region. Polk County Public Schools canceled all after-school activities in advance of the harsh conditions. The meeting seeking public input on roadway improvement options for the intersecting North Galloway Road and Swindell Road corridors will be rescheduled. A forthcoming public announcement will be issued with a new meeting date.
