Stormwater Technical Advisory Committee
The Stormwater Technical Advisory Committee provides guidance and assistance to the Polk County Board of County Commissioners in all matters dealing with stormwater runoff, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System stormwater permit requirements, maximizing efficiencies and improving surface water quality.
Meetings of this committee are decided by the committee's chairman and vice-chairman.

Qualifications for Board Members / How to Apply
The Stormwater Technical Advisory Committee includes five members, one appointed by each commissioner. Members are selected from representatives with technical expertise in such areas as engineering, biology, hydrology, chemistry or geology.
Unless specifically reestablished by the County Commission, the committee automatically dissolves without further action 36 months after the date of its first meeting.
