Nature Lecture Series: The History of Circle B Bar Reserve

Learn about the history and restoration of Circle B Bar Reserve with Jeff Spence, former director of Polk County Parks and Natural Resources, as he shares the story of preserving this beloved natural area. There will be a Q&A with the speaker following the presentation, so bring your questions! This event is free and open to learners of all ages.

Join us Thursday, Oct. 3 for our Nature Lecture Series at Polk’s Nature Discovery Center. Each month from October 2024 to May 2025 we will feature an expert to discuss a topic about the natural world around us. The event will take place at Polk’s Nature Discovery Center workshop, which is located adjacent to the Discovery Center at 4399 Winter Lake Road, Lakeland.
