Volunteer Polk Seeking Volunteers to Help with Post-Hurricane Efforts

Bartow, Fla. (Oct. 11, 2024) – Now that Hurricane Milton has left Polk County, cleanup efforts are set to begin. If you wish to volunteer to assist with disaster recovery, you can register by visiting https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=774342003.

Volunteer requests will not go out until the Emergency Management Division deems it safe to go out.

If you wish to donate to those who were affected by Hurricane Milton, cash is best. It helps the community recover faster. For more information on cash donations go to www.uwcf.org and follow the links or go to www.givecf.org and utilize the “United Community Relief Fund” drop down.
