Bartow, Fla. (Dec. 11, 2020) – Open house meetings to discuss proposed plans for Polk County’s Adult Day Care Center sites in Haines City and Lakeland are scheduled for later this month.

The Polk County Board of County Commissioners is considering partnering with the Peace River Center and Tri-County Human services to offer new programs at the two sites, but wants public input on the proposed programs first.

The open house programs at each of the sites are scheduled for the following dates:

Haines City: 5 p.m., Dec. 17 – Peace River Center will provide an overview and have staff members available to answer questions from the public. The center is located at 751 Scenic Highway, Haines City.

Lakeland: 2 p.m., Dec. 22 – Tri-County Human Services will present its plans and have staff members available to answer questions from the public. The center is located at 1200 Southern Ave., Lakeland.
