Bartow, Fla. (April 2, 2021) — CSX Transportation will replace defective rails at its crossing on American Superior Blvd. in Eloise on Tuesday. Work requires a day-long closure of the crossing from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Depending on direction travel, traffic will briefly detour along Croton Road SW via Snively Avenue (County Road 655) or Shell Road. Minor peak-hour delays are possible. Motorists are advised to drive carefully and to add a little extra time to trips through this area with school bus and freight traffic.
