Polk CARES Call Center adding Monday hours

Bartow, Fla. (May 22, 2020) — Polk County residents and small business owners may continue to submit applications for funds available through the Polk CARES 2020 share of the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act grant.
The allocated funds to both small businesses and individuals do not have to be paid back and both funds are offered on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocation is gone. Qualified Polk County residents and small business owners should apply online for financial assistance. The online application process will require residents and business owners to fill out a form, and attach verifying documentation with the application.
A call center to assist residents with questions regarding Polk County’s CARES Act financial assistance is available in English and Spanish from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The call center will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 to assist you and process applications. For help, please call (863) 298-7500.
