Repairs to Fish Hatchery Road Delayed until Tuesday
Published on Aug 30, 2021
Bartow, Fla. (August 27, 2021) — Emergency repairs planned to correct damage to Fish Hatchery Road from a telecom boring project have been delayed until Tuesday morning. Further investigation revealed the road was safe for traffic, but still requires restoration to an isolated pavement section in the northbound travel lane. In the meantime, the road remains open and passable to traffic. Come Tuesday, repairs will close Fish Hatchery Road from Saddle Creek Road south to Ralph Road for two to five days. While restoration is underway, traffic will be detoured around the work zone. Motorists are advised to drive carefully, be attentive to detour signs, and add a little extra time to trips through the area.
