Starting Friday, Jan. 14, the Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor will close U.S. 27 northbound at the State Road 60 bridge and U.S. 27 southbound at Central Avenue.

The closure is to allow the contractor to set beams for the new State Road 60 bridge. The closure will begin at 11 p.m. Friday and continue until 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17.

Detours will be in place for local traffic and commercial truck traffic. Signage will direct motorists to the detours. Law enforcement will also be on site to assist drivers. Please allow extra travel time and use caution in construction zones.
