If you can’t make it out to the 75th Annual Polk County Youth Fair this week, Polk County’s PGTV has you covered.

Polk County Government Television began live streaming Youth Fair Events Saturday and will continue throughout the week on its YouTube Channel Live Stream.

Competitions began Saturday with a horsemanship show and will continue throughout the week. Other competitions include ranch hand, goat tying, archery, whip cracking, chili cookoff and the market steer show.

There are also several categories in the consumer sciences division, which include sewing and cake baking. Other events and showings also include ornamental plants, market hog sale, poultry showmanship, dairy show and market lamb show.

While times have changed since the annual competition began in 1947, the events are still rooted in the agricultural foundations of the program.
