Boil Water Notice for Lake Thomas Subdivision Rescinded

Bartow Fla. (February 27, 2022) - Polk County Utilities has rescinded the Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on Thursday, February 24, 2022 for Sand Pines Trail in the Lake Thomas subdivision in the Central Region. This boil water notice affected approximately 54 service connections contacts as the result of a water main break.
Bacteriological water samples collected from that area are free of contamination and we are pleased to inform you that the water supply has been completely cleared for use.
