Bartow, Fla. (Jan. 17, 2025) — Polk County Utilities is working to restore an 8 inch water main break at the intersection of U.S. Highway 27 and Citrus Ridge Drive in Davenport. Residents in the Royal Ridge, Citrus Ridge, Royal Palms, Aylesbury, Regency Ridge and Prestwick Village subdivisions are experiencing low to no water pressure. It estimated that about 1,000 customers are affected. Commuters should avoid the area, if possible, as the line break has compromised the roadway.
