Bone Valley ATV Park Polk County FL
Bone Valley ATV Park stretches across 500 acres of reclaimed phosphate-mine land. The park welcomes your all-terrain vehicles (ATV), utility task vehicles (UTV), off-road motorcycles and dirt bikes. This Polk County ATV playground currently has 15 trails, made up of hill climbs and rocky terrain, plus free riding areas and is expanding.
With construction of the bridge (2024) over County Road 630 completed, the park’s southside is now continuously connects its companion, Bone Valley North.
Bone Valley North will feature additional amenities in the future, but on May 4, 2024, you can experience Bone Valley North’s roller coaster style trail – the “moto coaster” and glimpse the park’s first motocross track.

Hours of Operation:
- Open: Friday through Monday
- Closed: Tuesday through Thursday
- Summer Hours: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (June-September)
- Winter Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (October-May)
Bone Valley North Limited Schedule
As development of the Bone Valley North area of the park continues, park guests should continue checking in at the main gatehouse and may access Bone Vally North via the bridge over CR-630.
To keep park visitors safe and allow the county to continue to work on the completion of the motocross track, park roads and infrastructure, the following limited schedule applies for Bone Valley North tracks:
Moto-Coaster (Multi-purpose track) Hours of Operation:
- Open: Saturday and Sunday
- Closed: Monday through Friday
- Summer Hours: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (June-September)
- Winter Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (October-May)
The Bone Yard – Motocross Track*
- Open/Closed: Under Construction
*Only off-road motorcycles and dirt bikes permitted on this track.
Special Requirements:
State law requires that all ATVs be registered prior to riding on public property. Learn more about Florida off-highway-vehicle rules and regulations.
Riders under 16 years of age are required to take a rider’s education class prior to riding on public property. Learn more about Florida off-highway-vehicle safety.
Waiver: Participants are required to complete a waiver. Once completed it will remain on file for one year. To save time, please download, read and complete the OHV Waiver form. Spaces are available on the form for family members.
Online course for anyone 16-years-old and under: This course must be completed in order to ride if you are under the age of 16.
