As we move to the new system, no shutoffs will occur and no late fees will be assessed during this transition.

Current ACH/bank draft preferences will be saved, and can be managed, in the new portal.

Recurring payments will not carry over. Instead, residents will need to register for the new portal and set up a recurring payment.

New customer portal

The new portal will require existing customers to register on the site by creating a username and a password to access the new system, even if they were registered in the previous system.

Note: Customers will need their customer numberaccount number and service address, etc.

Accessing the new portal will give way to the following conveniences: 

Improved online bill pay options

Link to your bank account online (no fee)

You can link your bank account to your utility account and automatically pay your bill online through the customer portal. Initial set-up could take up to 30 days. This is not an immediate or one-time bill pay option. See Schedule Autopayment for information. 

One-time payment options **

Customers can submit a one-time payment* using the following methods:

  • Credit cards - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover (autopay option available)
  • E-check
  • Amazon Pay
  • Apple Pay (Quick pay option only)
  • Google Pay
  • PayPal
  • PayPal Credit
  • Venmo
  • Walmart Pay

*Maximum amount per transaction is $500

**A $2.75 convenience fee is charged per $500 transaction. All convenience fees are paid to the third-party processer.

Schedule payments

Automatically schedule your bill payment* each month with the Auto Pay feature (ACH) in the customer portal. Initial setup can be done online and will not take effect for the current bill (may take up to 30 days to become active). You can setup auto pay (ACH) with your bank account (no fee) or credit card (convenience fees apply). Preferences will not carry over from the previous system.

Customers may enable e-notification to provide an automatic notice when a bill is available to view and pay online.

*Payments of more than $500 will not be processed through payment scheduler

View and download past utility bills

Customers can conveniently download previous statements that have been generated in the new system at their convenience. To access bill statements from before May 2023, contact Customer Service at 863-298-4100.

Add multiple accounts to your web profile

This feature allows account holders to customize permissions guest access. Guest access can be offered by the account holder. Guest access can be customized to allow for:

  • Monthly bill pay
  • Monitoring usage

Property owner(s) and landlord(s) (account holder), who own various properties can add multiple utility accounts to their profile and allow guests or renters access to pay monthly bills and/or view usage data.

Start, stop or transfer service online

New and existing customers will have the convenience of starting a new service with Polk County Utilities, as well as terminating or transferring a service to a new property or residence.

Analyze and download water consumption history

Customers will have access to consumption history and water usage data. The data available can be used to find ways to conserve water and reduce your bill.
