Disaster Volunteer

To become a disaster volunteer:

1. Complete the online Volunteer Disaster Application.
2. As volunteer assistance is requested from us, we will contact you to confirm your availability.

Volunteers can play a key role in the recovery from a natural disaster. Volunteer Polk, at the direction of Polk County Emergency Management, becomes the clearing house for volunteers in times of disaster. This department registers all volunteers and conducts background checks to make sure volunteers have all the necessary training, certifications and credentials to do their job.
